Antimony Ministrix

Antimony Ministrix

Hell Rising: Normal and Elite

It’s helpful to think of the Antimony Ministrix fight as the “ring round the rosey” fight, since that’s what you will be doing as the fight progresses.  If you came straight through the trash mobs on your way to Antimony Ministrix, you passed a series of stalagmites which generated timed blue ring effects.  These effects cause a fair bit of damage to anyone standing in them.

As you approach the battle arena for Antimony Ministrix, you’ll notice that the arena is donut shaped with a set of the same stalagmites.  Most likely, they will be cycling a set of blue damage circles as you approach, to clue you in on what to expect.

AM does not do anything substantive damage wise, nearly everything comes from the easily avoidable Macroshock (the blue circle effect from the stalagmites).  Her other, generic attack, does trivial damage to a tank and is only moderately lethal to DPS/Healers.  This fight is entirely about avoiding the environmental effects.

When the Macroshock cycle starts, the pillars light up in a clockwise circle.  The easiest thing to do is simply run a lap clockwise and pick up Antimony Ministrix on the far side.  Other than ranged players getting caught in the Macroshock trying to maintain damage (and potentially being out of line of sight from the healer), there aren’t many significant risks in this fight in either normal or elite mode.

In general, the Antimony Ministrix fight is fairly straight forwards.  The major effect always travels in the same direction.  If you do identify the battlefield entry way (map annotation can help) it’s very easy to find the correct stopping point each time.  Your tank needs to have some means of maintaining agro during the travel stages, but in general this should not be overly problematic.
